Our veterinary hospital is a referral only/emergency facility. We have specialists who are board certified in all of the major fields of veterinary medicine. These veterinarians see patients referred to them from primary hospitals. A large volume of patients come to our hospital for advanced diagnostics and treatment. It is a fast paced and exciting environment that is designed to provide our patients and their families with state of the art veterinary medical care.

The Client Services Telephone Operator is an integral part of the Client Services Team, responsible for providing the highest level of quality service to our clients, referring veterinarians, and members of the GSVS team.

We currently have openings for the following shifts:

1. Tuesday through Saturday 9AM-5:30PM

2. Sunday 8AM-4:30PM and Monday through Thursday 12PM-8:30PM

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Answers incoming calls in a timely and friendly manner

Provides information and support to clients as needed

Takes detailed information from callers in order to relay messages and transfer calls to correct individual if further action is needed

Collects pertinent information needed for scheduling appointments and schedules appointments for new and existing clients correctly

Establishes and promotes A+ relationships with clients and referring veterinarians

Checks in appointments

Work Environment: ​​

Constant proximity to dogs and cats of all sizes and dispositions; must work one weekend shift per week and some holidays.

The highly qualified candidate will have a dedication to excellent service for each client and patient; feel comfortable learning computer software; and be able to work both as a team member and independently. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience; prior veterinary experience is a plus but not required.
