Job Summary
This position supports the various programs of Benton County Health by providing excellent, courteous, positive customer service to a widely diverse community/client base externally and internally by phone and in person. The environment is fast paced and ever changing. This position is required to cover at various locations throughout the Benton Health Service system.

Please note:
  • This position will work at various locations throughout the Benton Health Service system as needed: Corvallis, Alsea, Monroe, Lebanon, and Sweet Home.
  • Your clinic location preference will be asked during the application process, multiple options can be chosen.
  • This position is limited to working 1040 hours in a fiscal year (July 1st - June 30)
  • This recruitment may be used to fill multiple vacancies and establish a pool of qualified candidates for future vacancies.
  • Training schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for six to eight weeks.
  • Work shifts to be determined with candidate and business needs respectively.

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
  • High School Diploma or GED; AND
  • 3 years of administrative support, office and/or customer service experience.
Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent. An example of equivalent combination of education and work experience includes an Associate's degree and 1 year of medical office experience.

Special Requirements:
  • Benton County requires all Health Services and Clinic employees to complete their COVID-19 vaccination series or have an approved exception to the requirement due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief. Successful candidates for this position must submit vaccination documentation or be approved for an exception prior to their first day of employment. Failure to provide proof of full documentation or receipt of an approved exception will lead to withdrawal of the job offer.
  • Valid Oregon Driver's License or ability to obtain upon hire.
