We are seeking a Client Benefits Consultant, with our shared values, to become a part of our team!
The Benefits Consultant is responsible for signing new service agreements as well as identifying and creating new qualified opportunities within their assigned target market. They are a resource for information on company services, while providing potential claimants and future clients with appropriate directive to meet their individual needs. The Benefit Consultant will act as an initial point of contact and aid candidates in navigating program guidelines throughout the eligibility process. The Benefits Consultant will also be responsible for meeting monthly quotas determined by management. This is an inside sales position that is primarily focused on outreach, prospecting, and lead generation of future clients.
Requirements
- Attend in-person appointments and make outbound sales calls
- Determine if patient meets eligibility requirements to receive services
- Determine if patient is receiving services with another provider
- Coordinate with family member if he/she wishes to be a family member caregiver
- Determine if patient should be referred to Authorized Representative for new “white” card or to have “consequential illnesses” added
- Obtain required documents for Authorized Representative referral
- Obtain signed service agreement
- Frequent travel required throughout the state of South Carolina
Qualifications
- General sales experience is required
- Telephone based sales experience preferred
- Proven track record of success in sales
- Sales experience in home health, Department of Labor (DOL) program preferred
