Job Description
F&C Engineers is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with PE license to prepare engineering sketches and calculations, develop analysis models for steel structures and concrete foundations, compose reports, work with the design group to develop drawings and prepare/review/approve vendor drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering sketches, calculations.
- Develop analysis models for steel structures and concrete foundations and compose reports.
- Prepare, review and/or approve vendor drawings.
- Interact with drafting/design group to develop drawings.
- Visit job-sites to evaluate project requirements and conditions.
- Check engineering drawings and calculations.
Qualifications
- PE license required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited Institution required.
- Minimum of 3+ years' of experience utilizing STAAD pro.
- ANSYS, SACS, MAT 3D, Foundation software experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of the design of steel structures based and concrete foundations a plus.
- Working knowledge of structural design codes (AISC, ACI, API, IBC, etc.) a plus.
- Well organized
