Child Care Caregiver / Babysitter Responsibilities:

• Supervise creative play and learning activities
• Follow the care need instructions for child
• Interact directly with the children in an engaging, pleasant, and appropriate manner
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal prep, feeding, naps, light housekeeping, and companionship
• Provide a review of the day’s activities with the parent/guardian before leaving.

Territory: La Jolla, Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley, Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff by the Sea.

Pay Rate: $17 - $19/hr.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Caregivers: HCA#
• A current, valid state certification and in good standing
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
• Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
