Position Details:
Title: Chemical Technologist
Position Type: Full Time / 12-month contract
Shift: 8am- 5pm, M-F
Job Location: Indianapolis, IN
Benefits: 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
Compensation: $28.25 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Transforms a proof of concept chemistry/idea into a lab or kilo scale process with a focus on Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.
- Assists scientists and researchers in troubleshooting and correcting process deficiencies for new product/process development.
- Provides insights to others responsible for overall program implementation and commercialization.
- Delivers technology that will be used for scale-up and commercial implementation.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Comfortable working with chemicals as well as pipe & metal fitting. . (PPE will be provided)
- Lab experience (1-5 years working in a lab)
- Mechanically inclined
- Motivated; takes initiative
- Must be local to Indianapolis
