Private home seeking a chef / cook to prepare healthy meals. Be able to cook gluten-free; dairy-free; and not spicy. This job is for people that currently reside in Honolulu county, on the island of Oahu. If you are moving to Honolulu, Hawaii; then apply after you are moved in and settled. Be able to cook meat, seafood, and vegetable dishes.

The pay is $39 per hour. At the end of the tax year, you will receive a 1099 tax form. It will be your responsibility to pay your taxes from all monies earned.

Total hours can be increased if you are willing to do any of the following: house cleaning; caregiving; home repair; doing errands in your car (gas reimbursement provided); yard work; handyman jobs.

Job hours are between 15 to 30 hours per week. Work 3 to 5 days per week. Each shift is around five hours. If you are willing to do other home maintenance jobs, then the total hours per week can be increased. If you are semi-retired and you want to work less hours, that is okay. Just explain your position.

Looking for someone that is available between 2:30PM and 7:30PM. Be available to work until 8:30PM. There is no morning shift.

The house is close to the Waikiki-Kapahulu library, the zoo, and the Kapahulu Rainbow Drive Inn.

You must be willing to do a background check. I will pay for the background check. If I call you, I will ask to see your i.d. and ask for references. Do not send your i.d. card in your first response. I will provide you references of people that have worked for me to validate that I will not do anything malicious with your personal information. You can ask my references if I would do that.

List any trainings, certifications, and licenses; such as CPR, First Aid, Food safety. Other desired skills: home repair; yard work; sewing, ironing. Interest in learning massage therapy techniques is a plus. I will teach you massage therapy.

Please state whether you have your own car to do errands. Gas reimbursement provided. Plenty of street parking available. Taking the bus is not acceptable at this time (due to coronavirus hazards).

About us: work will be for two people: an elderly woman and her adult son. The elderly person is at high risk to coronavirus. We are seeking someone that is coronavirus vaccinated (Moderna or Phizer) and willing to follow high level social distancing practices during off hours as well as while working.

Pay is $39 per hour. Additionally, a $300 cash starting bonus will be paid over first five weeks. At the end of the tax year, you will receive a 1099 tax form for services performed. It will be your responsibility to pay your taxes.
