Description
The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

The Charge Nurse position is responsible for supervising employees in the administration of efficient nursing care of patients on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Provides supervision to nursing care staff.
  • Makes regular rounds to check on residents.
  • Ensures proper coverage so residents have adequate care.
  • Provides clinical nursing care.

This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof of vaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.

This position, in org unit 10202457, Hardin county has an approved Locality Premium of $16.48 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: See Special Requirements.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience.
