Our top-rated physicians have built a reputation of unparalleled orthopedic surgery and personal patient care. Each of our 13 orthopedic surgeons are board-certified, fellowship-trained sub-specialist experts in their area of focus. In addition, we have 22 mid-level providers serving patients in 3 locations: North Kansas City, MO, Independence, MO and Lenexa, KS.
We are seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer with a strong background in patient care and orthopedic injuries for assisting surgeons in both the clinic setting and the operating room as needed. Job responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining accurate health histories, prepping injections and in-office procedures, casting, splinting and documentation within the EMR as well as assisting the surgeon throughout the preoperative, intraoperative and post-operative duties. Applicants must be self motivated and highly professional individuals who want to work in a fast paced, high energy environment. Operating room experience preferred, but not required.
