We are growing and need more people. Any level of Welcome! We are hiring for Athletic Trainer or Certified Medical Assistants to be Patient Care Techs and working with our doctors. We offer competitive salaries and benefits!

We are growing and recently opened a new clinic in Merriam KS with two new sports medicine physicians.

SUMMARY: (Basic duties of position)

1. Direct Patient Care: Manage clinic for specific provider. Room patients, prepare patients for examination and treatment, draw injections, apply and remove casts and dressings.

2. Indirect patient care: Take and return patient phone messages, monitor test results and notify patients, refill prescriptions per protocol. Phone triage skills.

3. Charting: Documentation of patient visits, orders, calls, tests, medications, paperwork, etc.

4. Schedule: Arrange and pre-cert outside tests, physical therapy, procedures, etc.

5. Paperwork: Complete disability, FMLA, work comp RTW, and other paperwork for patients.

6. Strong work ethic and attention to detail, positive personality

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct Patient Care: Manage clinic for specific provider. Room patients, prepare patients for examination and treatment, draw injections, apply and remove casts and dressings.

2. Phone work – patient contact; Take and return patient phone messages, monitor test results and notify patients, refill prescriptions per protocol. Monitoring incoming and outgoing faxes. Assist other co-workers when able to do so.

3. Documentation: Knowledge of electronic medical records with some typing abilities. Computer work charting: documentation of patient visits, orders, calls, tests, medications, paperwork, etc.

Any and all duties, as assigned, stocking of exam and cast rooms, put clean laundry in exam rooms.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

1. Outside contact: Schedule: Arrange and pre-cert outside tests (MRI, CT, Doppler & Bone Scans, physical therapy, procedures, etc.)

2. Paperwork: Complete disability, FMLA, workers’ comp RTW, and other paperwork for patients.)

3. Work closely to assist other members on the team as needed. Open communication with other departments including front desk and phone room schedulers.
