Primary responsibilities include providing administrative oversight and direction for the Central Sterile department. This will be a working manager’s role. Provide accountability for planning, directing, leading and evaluating & implementing services & employee oversight. Prepare, track, and sterilize equipment and instruments in an accurate and timely manner. Prepares sterile trays and supplies for all areas of the hospital and outside physician facilities. Computer knowledge and ability to learn computer based instrument tracking system. Knowledge of or willingness to learn all facets of the decontamination and sterilization process. Experience in decontamination and sterilization processes preferred. Certification from CBSPD within the first year of employment. Rotating weekend call schedule
Full time salaried, exempt position which will require more than 40 hours weekly and potentially irregular hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
