CENTER ASSISTANT AND CENTER ASSISTANT FLOAT

McGregor PACE is a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) that provides an alternative to nursing home placement by enabling seniors to remain at home, in the community. We are seeking:

Full-time Center Assistants for our 3 locations: Old Brooklyn, East Cleveland, and Warrensville Heights, OH and Center Assistant Floats. These positions are Monday-Friday, DAY SHIFT ONLY (no evenings, weekends or holidays). RETENTION BONUSES offered!

Center Assistants (CAs) are responsible for providing personal care, safety, and engagement for participants attending the PACE adult day centers. They will be expected to greet and screen each participant, and then assist them with ADL/IADLs such as toileting, bathing, feeding, laundry, and meal service. They will also encourage and assist with participation in recreational activities.

Center Assistant Floats complete the same tasks as CAs yet are occasionally required to provide Home Care service support when needed, work at one of the other PACE centers within Cuyahoga County and accompanying participants to medical appointments . Candidates must be positive, flexible, and team oriented.

Qualifications:

1. COVID 19 Vaccination

2. High School diploma, or G.E.D. required.

3. Experience in a nursing facility, hospital or adult day care, home care desirable.

5. Valid Ohio driver’s license and working car, required

PRE-HIRE PHYSICAL, DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED

Experience:

• working with frail older persons: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• State Tested Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
• Certified Home Health Aide (Preferred)
