RJ Corman Railroad Co/Central Kentucky Lines LLC Lexington, KY
R.J. Corman is seeking candidates for a CDL Driver/Laborer in Lexington, KY.
This position performs general OTR truck driving and general maintenance to tractor and trailer in addition to tasks related to track maintenance with the ability to use small hand tools such as spike mauls, jack hammer, and gas powered impacts. Attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Hauling of rail and construction equipment.
- Transporting over-size load equipment safely.
- Loading and unloading all equipment as necessary.
- Operating OTR truck in a safe manner.
- Maintaining daily driver’s logbook.
- Completing fuel/trip reports.
- Performs minor service and repair on OTR truck and trailer.
- Railroad track maintenance and repair.
- Other job duties as assigned.
What does it take to be a CDL-A Driver for R.J. Corman?
- Valid CDL-A and DOT medical certificate
- Must pass drug screen and physical capacity test
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to use trowels and other tools as required
- Ability to perform physical labor
