Close To Home Senior Living is looking for compassionate caregivers to assist our residents!

We are seeking Caregivers (Resident Assistants) to join our teams at our location in northwest Milwaukee and Wauwatosa for full time, part time and per diem positions.

WE WILL BE CONDUCTING ON SITE INTERVIEWS FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

Monday, November 14, 2022 9am to 2pm

Tuesday, November 15, 2022 1pm to 5pm

Our facility in Wauwatosa currently has IMMEDIATE part time and pool positions available.

Our northwest Milwaukee location has IMMEDIATE second shift openings, part time openings and pool positions available.

These positions will include working every other weekend and rotating holidays. Some positions available are every weekend or every other weekend only or a few shifts per week and would be perfect for students or someone looking for extra income.

Responsibilities

Our Caregivers are responsible for delivering high quality personal care and services to support the Individual Service Plans for each resident, while maintaining consistency with both facility policy and state regulations. As a Caregiver you will play a critical role in caring for our residents.

Tasks include providing assistance to our residents with their activities of daily living, housekeeping/laundry, medication management, meals, various activities and providing conversation and companionship to ensure the well-being of our residents.

Qualifications

  • Completion of the four Wisconsin DHS Certified classes (Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Management and Standard Precautions) is preferred. We do offer a reimbursement program for training if required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in serving others in a caregiving capacity. Experience with older adults is preferred. Prior experience with dementia and emotional issues/mental health issues is a plus!
  • Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking, managing crisis situations, teamwork, the ability to work independently and remain task orientated, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with residents and families.

We offer weekly paychecks, pay increases and learning opportunities. Starting wage can be negotiable and will be based on prior experience.
