We are looking for a few action orientation, high integrity individuals that have a passion for cannabis! This is a Full-time to join our team as Trimmer at our Cannabis Cultivation which is Located at: 2 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009

Position Summary:

Nirvana Center Dispensaries is looking for dedicated applicants, who are inspired by our vision and wants to become apart of our expansion. The Trimming Team Member position is responsible for assisting with any and all, day-to-day trimming and labeling duties of our cannabis facility. These duties include but are not limited to weighing, labeling, trimming cannabis flowers

  • Learning and following all required packaging and labeling methods
  • Uphold all standards and procedures pertaining to facility cleanliness
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds
  • Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, cutting and fine manipulation
  • Clean and Sanitize the entire facility as scheduled by Production Supervisor
  • Maintaining a clean or organized work environment;
  • Assisting with any other tasks or responsibilities that are assigned to you by the Production Supervisor or manager

General Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Control

  • Performs product inspection for irregularities, particulates and other contaminants.
  • Verifies that raw materials meet specifications.
  • Documents non-compliance and works with Manager and/or Lead if further action is needed.
  • Submits all waste to the appropriate location for particulate identification or microbial analysis if needed, and disposes of, in accordance with company policy and state regulations.

  • Supports internal & external audits.

Safety and Compliance

  • Verify proper identification and paperwork from patients.
  • Making sure All profiles are updated in the P.O.S
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
  • Advise patients on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabis.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. § 36-2804.01
  • Arizona Drivers License (Plastic copy Required)
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Manages time efficiently in order to meet productivity goals, while consistently producing quality work at a steady pace
  • Ability to use hands repetitively for grasping, pushing, pulling and cutting
  • Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
  • Ensures all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality, compliance, and successfully conforms to all state regulations, organizational standards and procedures, and security protocols
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Must have strong organizational and analytical abilities and advanced math skills
  • Must demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills
  • Must maintain compassion for the Cannabis community
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays. We are open 365 days a year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.75 per hour
