Cancer Service Line Administrator - Woman's Hospital Job at Womans Hospital
Job Summary:
The Service Line Administrator will be responsible for the operational leadership of the Woman’s Cancer Center and for the seamless delivery of all aspects of comprehensive cancer care services for cancer outpatients and inpatients at Woman’s Hospital. The position will report directly to the Vice President Oncology Service Line and will also work closely with the Cancer Joint Venture Service Line Board (SLB) in its oversight capacity for the joint venture between Woman’s, Our Lady of the Lake, and Mary Bird Perkins.
Additionally, the Service Line Administrator will support improvements in quality, safety, and operational excellence. The Service Line Administrator will function as a liaison with all levels of staff, administration, medical staff, and outside organizations to coordinate service line business with the aim of providing excellent, value-based comprehensive care.
The Service Line Administrator works closely with the WH VP to organize and coordinate the regular meetings of the Joint Venture Service Line Board (SLB), Service Line Care Coordination Committee (CCC) and Physician Advisory Committees (PAC).
Job Requirements:
- MBA, MHA, MSN or equivalent degree is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related clinical field plus five years’ experience in health care administration with progressively responsible management experience is required.
- At least three years in a management or a high-level supervisory position in Cancer/Oncology required.
