Camp Pennyroyal-Resident Camp Counselor Job at Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana
We are looking for a dynamic candidate that loves camp!
Camp Pennyroyal is a traditional overnight summer camp owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Pennyroyal is 180-acres with its own 8-acre spring feed lake, high ropes course and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Our program typically hosts Girl Scouts grades K-12 with up to 80 campers and adult volunteers. All staff must attend staff training 5/30-6/9. We are seeking an enthusiastic Camp Counselor to provide the ultimate summer camp experience for our campers by supervising a living unit, delivering daily programming, and being a champion of fun. Counselors will work in teams of 2-4 with a Unit Leader, a unit is typically comprised of 4-24 girls and provides daily programming like swimming, boating, games, nature education, and more! The ideal candidate will be genuinely invested in the development of our campers and how we can best empower them.
