We are looking for a Camp Director/After School Coordinator to oversee operations of our Day Camp in Salem, NH. This position is seasonally shared with Summer months at Day Camp and School Year at our After School Site in Andover, MA. The Camp Otter Director and School Age Site Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of operations of the day camp, including but not limited to budget management, program development, camper and staff retention and recruitment, customer relations, staff training, fundraising and marketing. The School Age Coordinator responsibilities include assisting the SACC Director in the above mentioned duties and maintaining a safe and thriving after school program in Andover, MA.

Qualifications:

· Degree in education, psychology, physical education, recreation, or related field (preferred).

· Minimum 3 years of experience working with youth, teens and adults in a recreation setting.

· Program planning and development experience.

· Must have proven abilities with decision-making processes, managerial skills, and financial comprehension.

· Must understand purchasing and budget management.

· Must understand and be able to implement staff supervision techniques.

· Shall be knowledgeable of, and assure compliance with, the State of New Hampshire regulations for the operation of summer youth camps, be responsible for complying with the American Camp Association standards, and shall be knowledgeable of New Hampshire Labor Department guidelines and their compliance requirements.

· Shall be knowledgeable of, and assure compliance with, the State of Massachusetts regulations for the operation of out of school time programs.

· Must have appropriate training in ropes course, climbing wall and adventure based programming; including safety training, facilitative techniques and technical / physical aptitude.

Salary Range: $45,000 to 55,000
