About the Varo Servicing Team
We are a fast paced call center with many growing and changing processes and have a strong focus on the growth and development of our team. We have a tailored program in place designed to allow our reps to take control of their career by focusing on the customer experience. Our best Digital Banking Representatives (or DBRs for short) handle changes with ease by staying up to date with our changing procedures and asking questions to gain clarity. We need people who are excited to solve problems and build the bank of the future! We value flexibility, which is one of the things we are hiring for. We are looking to hire team members who are willing and flexible to change with the call patterns that will fluctuate with growth, marketing campaigns and times of year.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll spend the majority of your shift on the phone (inbound calls), speaking with customers, listening to their concerns, assisting them with online navigation, and providing them with the best solutions. You’ll be a pro at problem-solving!
  • You will keep our customers safe by meticulously following all banking rules and regulations
  • You will exceed when it comes to logic and solving complex problems
  • You will seek challenges and take them on because you thrive on getting ahead
  • You won’t always have all of the answers, but you won’t stop at getting them
  • This is specifically for the weekend shift, there will be opportunity to change in the future

You’ll bring the following required skills and experiences

  • You have 1+ years of providing customer service and solving customer inquiries and requests in a call center
  • You have experience in a high volume call center, preferably in financial services, escalations, disputes, or other specialized customer service team
  • You have a focus on first call resolution
  • You are a problem solver by nature, even when you don’t have all the answers
  • You’re flexible and adaptable in our ever changing environment
  • Willingness and flexibility to work during our posted business hours:
  • Weekends 7:00 am -3:30 pm MT
  • Weekdays 7:00 am - 6:00 pm MT

Some important details to help you decide

  • The class start date is January 24, 2023
  • Pay is $19 per hour with the opportunity to earn much more!
  • Location - Remote
  • Benefits start day 1 and are paid up to 100% for the employee
  • Extra $4 per hour worked on weekends
