Call Center Certified Medical Assistant Job at Community Medical Group
Summary
Community Medical Group is looking for a Call Center Certified Medical Assistant to use clinical knowledge to better serve patients contacting our Call Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtains and records patient medical history and personal data.
- Provide phone triage support for patient appointments
- Obtains and records patient medical history and personal data during the chart prep.
- Explains clinician’s instructions as needed.
- Informs the clinician and other related personnel of changes in the patient’s needs and/or physical changes.
- Writes daily notes according to Federal and State guidelines.
- Communicates with the clinician regarding patient’s status, obtaining additional orders if necessary.
- Assumes responsibilities for self-development by continually striving to improve his/her knowledge through educational programs, attendance at workshops and conferences to keep all certifications up to date.
- Observes confidentiality and safeguards on all patient-related information and medical facility operational data.
- Document accurately and thoroughly patient information into the electronic health records.
- Performs other duties as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
