The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and conducting marketing efforts for our Philadelphia offices.

Business Development Specialist Responsibilities:

• Generate referrals by building relationships with physicians, long term care, independent and assisted living facilities, and other community resources
• Implement a marketing plan that promotes a wide expansion of the agency’s business in existing and expanding territory
• Visits with potential clients, discharge planners and other health care providers regarding services, contracts, and communication with our program, provide follow-ups
• Receive all incoming calls for referrals while getting back to clients in a timely manner
• Demonstrate a thorough and complete knowledge of the agency including our vision, mission and values; the services we provide; and how we differentiate ourselves from other home care agencies
• Communicate with scheduling coordinators, office team and clients or their representatives
• Report schedules and results to their immediate supervisor on a weekly basis
• Enters and distributes service order information as well as documenting holds/terminations/renewals etc.
• Provide monthly reports on outreach efforts
• Perform other related marketing duties as assigned

Business Development Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• Must have car
• 1-2 years of proven success in Home Care required
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Must be extremely organized
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Patience and the ability to handle pressure and deadlines

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
