As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships. Automotive experience is NOT required.
  • Location: Terry Labonte Chevrolet (Greensboro).
  • Schedule: Full Time, morning/afternoon/weekend shifts, business hours 9:00am-8:00pm.
  • Pay: Salary plus Bonus/Commission.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Answers all incoming phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script, and schedule a sales or service appointment.
  • Logs all customer comments into Dealership Management System.
  • Schedules follow-up contact if no appointment is made in Dealership Management System.
  • Confirms scheduled appointments with future customers.
  • Posts scheduled appointments on appointment board in the Business Development Center.
  • Re-schedules “no-show” customer appointments.
  • Follows up with sales or service department to determine if the appointment was kept and what the outcome was. Schedules future contact as needed.
  • Maintains and updates customer changes in database.
  • Contacts current customer base on current marketing incentives.
  • Responds to customer website requests (internet inquiries).
  • Contacts internet clients via e-mail and phone to schedule a sales or service appointment.
  • Notifies necessary departments to inform of appointments set.
  • Forwards any customer concerns to the correct Department Manager and follows up.
  • Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Engages in business development.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains positive business and customer relationships.
  • Continuously improves through feedback.
Qualifications:
  • College Degree, High School Diploma, GED.
  • Knowledge of Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to learn web applications for customer management.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Essential Skills:
  • Customer Service, Scheduling, Typing, Reporting skills, Data Entry, Problem Solving, Organization.
