- Under general supervision provides basic maintenance support to meet the requirements of department goals and services to ensure tenant satisfaction.
- Respond to and correct each tenant request; perform a daily check of the building, noting and repairing normal maintenance needs: lights and electrical needs, elevator phone, plumbing, janitorial performance, building repairs.
- Monitor building grounds, roof, windows, curtain wall and flooring. Perform various projects and tasks as requested.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years in duties within an area relevant to maintenance responsibilities, including experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, boilers and chillers and construction.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including outstanding interpersonal and consultative skills, problem solving skills, ability to work with various and conflicting personalities.
- Knowledge of building systems.
Work is performed under working conditions that require special safety precautions, or work is performed in adverse weather conditions such as extreme cold, heat or rain.
