All positions require that the applicant be a resident of Wyandotte county or willing to relocate within (12) months from the date of hire. As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer physical examination and drug screen. And submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.
Job Description:
Managing day-to-day operations of Buildings and Logistics. Duties will include supervising professional level and support staff; preparation and monitoring department budget; review project estimate or plan to determine schedule, estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements; develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures; adhere to all safety rules, practices, and policies and ensure that all employees follow applicable safety precautions and that all work is performed to meet or excel the building codes; ensuring responsive maintenance service to internal customers; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree a related field and five years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public agency; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Construction and project management experience with the ability to understand project documents and determine the completeness or inadequacies.

Valid Kansas driver’s license is required.

Experience with managing multiple projects at once; proficiency with Microsoft Office computer programs; basic knowledge of CAD technologies; knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and the hazards and safety precautions; working knowledge and proficiency with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; ability to read and understand blueprints and diagrams; and Certified Facility Manager (CFM) are all highly desired.
Salary Range:
$31.00 - $48.42/hr.
