Brokerage Underwriter - Pocatello, Idaho Job at Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance of Idaho
Work with Agents in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming to place risk with third-party insurance carriers.
Compensation: $15 - $17 Hourly DOE
Responsibilities:
- Personal Commercial Lines quoting
- Process Personal and Commercial Lines renewals
- Obtain personal lines commercial lines quotes for agency force
- Miscellaneous tasks as directed
- Remarket renewals
- Daily policyholder underwriting actions
- Some accounts receivable functions; apply policyholder payments
- Miscellaneous tasks as directed
Qualifications: SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience: Previous Insurance experience preferred
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Other: Participation in insurance education courses such as AINS, CPCU, and other related courses preferred
