We are looking for a Saturday & Sunday Breakfast cook. If wanting more shifts or hours, no problem but specifically Saturday & Sunday breakfast cook 8:30am- 2pm.

We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the lead cook as well as other cooks with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

Preliminary Qualifications

As a private local corporation, we do require all current staff members and or future hires the wearing of masks. we ALSO Prefer you to be vaccinated, If you are not vaccinated then you can opt for a weekly Covid home test. It must be submitted weekly or you will be taken off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces per recipe specifications)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive chef’s/GM's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Any other kitchen-restaurant related duties as regulated by the Executive Chef/GM

Neighbors Westside Bar & Grill is a scratch kitchen gastropub style restaurant and bar offering our chef-inspired Burgers, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. We also serve breakfast on Saturday & Sundays only.

Job Type: Full-time (benefits after 90 days) Part-time (no benefits)

Pay: $13.50 - $18.00 per hour (D.O.E.)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year of full kitchen experience
