Our Blue Boutique in Tacoma (Proctor), WA store is seeking a Full Time Boutique Sales Lead!

Salary: $16.74 Per Hour

Position Summary: A Blue Boutique Sales Lead supervises, has keys to the store and coordinates the activities of store employees on a daily basis. A successful Sales Lead at the Blue Boutique will present a professional image and will be knowledgeable in fashion, designer brands and merchandising.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Boutique Sales Lead responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:

  • Assigns duties to workers and schedules break periods
  • Trains workers in store policies, department procedures, and job duties
  • Collaborates with the store manager on merchandising product in a way that maximizes sales
  • Listens to customer complaints, examines returned merchandise, and resolves problems to restore and promote good customer experiences
  • Assists sales workers in completing difficult sales

Customer Service

  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to a variety of customers.

Product Quality Assurance

  • Inspects merchandise to ensure it is acceptable for pricing and display.

Collaborative Demeanor

  • Able to be an effective part of the team in order to reach sales goals.
Requirements:

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • 6 months - 1 year experience or training in retail fashion
  • Be willing to work alongside others to achieve store goals.
  • Have strong communication and organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Be reliable, and work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
  • Be coachable, and have a strong desire for personal & professional growth.
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
  • Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel.

Other Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Boutique Sales Lead.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
