Part Time Bookkeeper
Growing New York Musical Instruments Company looking for an experienced Bookkeeper. This position will report to the Controller. We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our business. You will also collaborate and communicate with employees, vendors, and customers to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
Location: Port Jefferson, New York
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Invoicing Customers
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Bank/Credit Card Reconciliations
Data Entry
Payroll Processing/Record Keeping
Preparation Of Sales & Use Tax Returns
Responding to IRS/State Notices
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Accounting
Knowledge of Bookkeeping Principles
5 year’s work experience
Proficiency in NetSuite Software a Plus-**must be willing to learn NetSuite
Proficiency in Quickbooks a MUST
Computer Literate-experience with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
Organized- Detail Oriented- Multitasker-Team Player
Self Starter with the ability to work independently
Good Communication Skills both written and verbal
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
