POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Albert Einstein College of Medicine offers its professional and administrative staff the opportunity to arrange hybrid-remote work or flexible-work schedules, with supervisory approval. The incumbent for this position is eligible for such consideration, and applicants may inquire with the hiring manager or human resources. QUALIFICATIONS:
This person will work on studies of cardiovascular disease epidemiology in National Institutes of Health/NHLBI-funded cohort studies and electronic medical record and insurance claims data. Specific responsibilities will include maintaining linked databases of various types from the large, multi-thousand person population studies; developing and implementing protocols to map and link cohort data to records from several large-scale data sources (local care management organizations, Medicare and Medicaid databases); performing quality assurance and developing data dictionaries; and conducting epidemiologic analyses including standard tools such as Cox proportional hazards regression, Poisson regression, logistic regression, and weighted data analysis; and collaborating with faculty on writing abstracts, manuscripts, and other deliverables to document study findings

- Graduate level training in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, population health sciences, public health, medicine or related field required
- Completed graduate training at Master's level or beyond required
- Experience (1+ years) in various techniques of data analysis and data management required Consideration will be given to length of previous employment in comparable or related positions, in particular productivity and experience working on research grants and scientific publications
