Maryland Licensed Behavioral Health Adult & Child/Adolescent Counselors!

Telehealth experience required! Flex Hybrid Schedule Remote and Onsite!

The Licensed Licensed Behavioral Health Psychotherapist has experience in culturally competent trauma-informed/trauma-responsive treatment and co-occurring disorders with a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing mental health treatment in clinical settings as a direct care provider. Licensed Behavioral Health Psychotherapist provides mental health screening, assessment, individual counseling, group counseling, and family counseling services. The Licensed Behavioral Health Psychotherapist serves as the first point of contact for referral sources and potential consumers to schedule assessments, evaluations mental health screening, and admissions.

Thoroughly assesses and completes the screening assessment tools for all consumers as required

• Provides Mental Health Early & Intervention Services

• Provides Group Therapy, Provides Individual Therapy

• Provides Family Therapy & Education

Assist consumers in being admitted or referred out to the service or resource to best address their health care needs.

Documenting findings, recommendations, and outcomes.

Triage, insurance pre-certification, computer entry, and data analysis & clinical documentation.

Serves as a liaison to referral sources and provides community outreach, works closely with the agency's Certified Peer Support Staff.

Job Requirements: Maryland Board Licensure

LGPC, LMSW, LGSW, LCSW-C,LCPC-S LCADC-S

• Masters' degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work Required.

• Experience in telehealth counseling service delivery Required.

Prior intake, assessment, admission, and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Preferred knowledge of outpatient mental health clinic admission functions, psychological assessment and risk assessment, safety planning, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, trauma responsive service deliver, age-specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.

• Preferred knowledge of trauma and resilience evidenced-based interventions and curriculum.
• Preferred knowledge of screening and assessment tools
• Preferred knowledge in providing integrated health care services
• Preferred knowledge of intensive outpatient service delivery

Excellent communication skills and documentation a must .

Understanding of local state/ federal regulations, HIPAA regulations, and third-party payer knowledge is preferred.
