Our pretty fantastic multidisciplinary team here at Eastside Therapy Services is growing! We are a small and close knit group of providers operating under a multidisciplinary and naturalistic therapy model. We believe in a holistic approach to pediatric therapy services!

We have been serving families for over eight years and just opened up a new therapy center in charming Gilman Village. Our new naturalistic therapy center replicates an environment children would typically find themselves in and that any child would love to spent the day playing at! We even include an animal assisted therapy program where children and staff can interact with families in our outdoor therapy center. Our indoor therapy center has the feel of a bright, and warm early learning play area!

In our pediatric therapy practice behavior technicians provide direct therapy to children to build skills in the areas of play, social, language, cognitive, academic, motor and self-help. Think teacher meets therapist with a touch of camp counselor. Through daily routines, play, games, structured activities, and even social skills groups, therapy goals are targeted under the support and guidance of a collaborative team.

Our team takes pride in developing an individualized and holistic approach to services for each of our patients, as well as an individualized experience for each provider. There is flexibility to work part time, full time, or to dive deep and help create a program that enables you to focus on your professional interests. This particular role has openings in the center, schools, and in homes.

Responsibilities of a BT

· Follow treatment plans and instructional programs to build new skills

· Implement behavior intervention plans

· Use play and naturally occurring routines to teach new skills

· Take daily data on client responding to track progress

Qualifications and Skills

· Preferred related experience with children with and without Autism Spectrum Disorder

· Washington State CBT license preferred but not required

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

· Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week

· Must be able to lift 35 pounds and get on and off the floor easily
