What is a Behavior Technician?

BTs work one-on-one with children with autism, helping them build skills in communication, play, socialization, and daily living. This is ideal for candidates with experience or passion for childcare, early childhood development, and psychology.
With AST and Propel, you'll be getting BOTH a job with AST and an additional fellowship opportunity through Propel America. As a Propel fellow, you will be hired by Autism Spectrum Therapies, a subsidiary of LEARN Behavioral. After spending two weeks with Propel brushing up on your professional skills, you will start your paid training and begin working with clients. We will be there with you every step of the way, supporting you with one-on-one coaching and a network of peers. We will also connect you with opportunities for earning tuition-free college credit and exploring continuing education options.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED already have or be willing to get the Covid-19 vaccine.
