Bartender

* MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER*

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly pay and tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Act as M.O.D. when F.O.H. Manager and/or GM are not present
• Comply with all house rules where alcohol is considered

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer/P.O.S. System literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Ability to handle customers in bar setting/environment while maintaining an appropriate attitude at all times

Server

We are looking for an enthusiastic server to provide excellent customer service during dining experience. Good servers will be able to seat customers when and if needed, take food and drink orders, and deliver food to the customers, all while maintaining a smile and a positive attitude. Compensation includes hourly pay and tips.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers upon arrival at restaurant and/or server section/table
• Learning and memorizing daily/weekly/weekend food and drink specials, among other information, and the ability to relay that information to customers
• Provide excellent customer service during the dining experience
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Provide suggestions for food or drink choices to customers
• Taking feedback from customers and sharing that feedback with management
• Cleaning tables and preparing for future customers
• Carrying food and drinks from the kitchen and dining areas to tables
• Memorizing the food menu, wine list, list of our 24-tap beer availability, what liquor we carry as well as our seasonal cocktail menus, and much more
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish wait station inventory and supplies, etc.
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Ability to learn and operate in-house P.O.S. system, and take payment
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with kitchen staff, as well as all other employees, assistant managers, and general manager

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a server
• Excellent knowledge of basic math, particularly addition and subtraction
• Computer/P.O.S. System literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• General knowledge of food and wine pairings
• Ability to multitask and to cater to multiple groups/customers at one time
• Ability to dissolve conflict, take criticism, and solve problems
• Ability to learn quickly on the job

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3.00 - $15.00 per hour
