SUMMARY:
To provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service and display salesmanship and friendly hospitality. Attends pre-shift meetings. Maintains uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service and display salesmanship and friendly hospitality. Attends pre-shift meetings. Maintains uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to policies, procedures and Health Department regulations.
- Greets guests in a friendly and timely manner to take orders for food and beverage items.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques.
- Must be familiar with all menu items.
- Must be familiar with locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to guests.
- Obtains, reconciles, and returns cash bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Accurately inputs food and beverage orders into the Aloha system.
- Follows cash-handling procedures and cash register policies.
- Prepares beverages to Bean and Bread standards and serves them in a timely manner.
- Thanks guests, presents checks, and settles checks according to established procedures.
- Always invites guests back to the outlet.
- Relays all guest compliments and complaints to the Manager on duty.
- Keeps work area neat, organized, and stocked with needed supplies.
- Fills pastry display as needed. Prepares all coffee products as needed.
- Cleans coffee machines daily and as needed.
- Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
- Completes assigned side work.
- Assists with maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment.
- Turns-over/takes-over station according to established procedures.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 6 months experience. Preferred
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.

Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
