Barista and Cashier Job at Royal Oak Roast
Royal Oak Roast, a fast paced cafe is looking for a few more staff members as we seek to get ahead of the fall when some of our college students depart! Our ideal candidate would have an interest in specialty coffee, have retail experience, and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience in coffee preferred, but willing to train the right candidate if they have a great attitude. At least 1 weekend day necessary. Shifts vary, either 7-2, 8-3, 9-4, or 2-730. Hourly starts at 10 for no experience and goes higher with experience The tip baseline starts at $5 an hour, total compensation is $15 and up.
Duties include
-Welcoming guests into the cafe, and informing them of all products available, and providing expert recommendations
-Preparing coffee, tea based drinks
-Food and drink running
-Light Cleaning
-Washing dishes
