Swan Lake Resort is looking for energetic and motivated Banquet Servers to ensure our guests have a great experience during their event. Working as a part of a team is an essential part of being a good Banquet Server; if you like working with others in a fast-paced environment, then this job is for you. Responsibilities

• 
  Complete pre-function side work and set up side station as assigned by supervisor.
• Serve all food courses and beverage items to the guest in accordance with function requirements.
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.
• Remove all tabletop items, linen and equipment from the function room as designated by function requirements.
• Complete closing side duties and clean all equipment as assigned.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Banquet & Events Manager or Day of Events Supervisor.
• If licensed to serve, maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.
• If licensed to serve, open and serve wine/champagne bottles.

Requirements

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 30 pounds.
• Push/pull cart and other equipment up to 100 pounds.
• Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift.
• Great customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
