Tiny Pies was launched in Austin 10 years ago by mother/ daughter duo Kit Seay and Amanda Wadsworth. They started with a clear mission that tiny moments are what shapes our every day! 10 years later that mission is still the focus of Tiny Pies. We are a family run company who chooses joy first and strives to create a work environment that is stimulating and fulfilling while pursuing individual and team oriented growth and we strive to promote from within. We believe in quality first; using recipes and methods that have been passed down from generations.

Supplemental pay:

• End of season bonus of $500 for all kitchen staff that works until 12/31.

• Tips (average tips are .50¢-$3.00 per hour, highest during October, November and December)

Availability:

Shifts between 5:30AM-1:30PM or 1:00PM-9:00PM Monday - Sunday and 8AM-4PM in our Savory Kitchen

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand our pie recipes

• Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, ovens, and other equipment to make pies

• Decorating the finished product

• Ensure finished goods meet food safety and quality controls

• Working with a great team and creating a great work environment

• Cleaning and restocking the workstation and ensuring all equipment is sanitized

• Ensure availability to respond to other unexpected operational requirements (i.e. nights, weekends, or holidays). Participate in on-call rotation

• Ensure quality control of all products before sending to shops to be sold

• Ensure baked products are ready to be shipped to their destination at prescribed times

These requirements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by our team members; but it is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Job Qualifications:

Bakery experience is a plus but not required

No educational requirements

Must be able to perform physical functions such as twisting, turning, bending and be on your feet for up to 8 hours or longer

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Food Handler’s permit
