Back Office Nurse - Bingham County Jail (LPN or RN) Job at Bingham Memorial Hospital
We are looking for a highly motivated CMA or LPN to join our ever growing team here at Bingham to work in the county jail system. You must be willing and able to learn new skills and adapt to change often, as the medical field is ever changing. You must have good communication skills and be detail oriented. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma. Post-Secondary degree/certification preferred.
Minimum Work Experience: Previous medical jail experience preferred
Required Licenses / Certifications: BLS, RN or LPN
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: The Back Office Assistants have the responsibility for following policy in the overall operation of the Clinic's back office. They assist the providers in the immediate care of the inmates and assists in clerical duties as time allows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Shall perform health appraisal of each inmate within 7 days of admission, including a medical screening, histories of the medical, dental, mental health and immunizations, vital signs, other tests and therapy as appropriate. PREA training completion required.
