Seeking an AWS Data Lake Engineer to work with. The AWS Data Lake Engineer will work with a team to build and maintain the infrastructure, pipelines, and tools supporting data lakes. The AWS Data Lake Engineer will implement data quality, governance, and access control mechanisms within the data lake infrastructure. This role will also ensure the resiliency and scale of the data lake platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide AWS cloud platform expertise to help maintain and improve the existing data lake
- Tune and maintain Snowflake storage technologies
- Collaborate with data engineers to structure database schemas
- Maintain pipeline and data querying support systems
- Implement retention and data mart solutions
- Engineer error handling and data quality processes within pipelines and processes
- Conduct research on test new technologies that could enhance the data lake and its business use cases.
