The Oasis program, located in Douglas, MA, is a 16-bed treatment program for adults who have both mental health and substance use disorders. Oasis is not a typical group home environment – our model is to support all paths to wellness and recovery including yoga, meditation, smart recovery, therapy animals, 12-step programs, and more.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-exempt position (eligible for overtime).

Awake Overnight Counselors provide support to individuals who live in the residential program during overnight hours. Although the treatment the residents receive is intensive, the environment is fairly stable, especially during the overnight hours. This is a perfect position for a student wanting to grow their career in human services, while being able to balance the needs of the job with their outside responsibilities. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7am (overnight)

• Complete basic housekeeping, filing, shift logs, observe and/or support individuals in taking their medications.
• Must remain awake and alert for the entirety of shift (overnight).
• Assisted daily living skills, morning transports and supports to individuals as necessary.
• Exercise good judgment and communicate/ask for support from the team and supervisors when needed.

• Oasis is a facility that is contractually obligated to have co-ed staffing. This is a position that must be filled by a male or non-binary candidate.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and a compassion for those who are struggling.
