Description:

Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft
avionics systems to ensure airworthiness.
Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft
avionics systems, such as comm/nav,
attack avionics, electronic warfare, flight
instruments, sniper targeting pod system,
and flight control systems. Determines
feasibility and method of repairing or
replacing malfunctioning or damaged
components and assist with Periodic
Inspections. Replaces or repairs worn or
damaged components. Work typically
requires a detailed understanding of the
interrelationships of circuits. Will provide
technical guidance and OJT to customer
technicians.

Basic Qualifications:

• Verifiable flight line experience is

required.

• Experience with progressive and

documented experience in the fighter
aircraft maintenance environment.

• Experience as an Avionics Technician

(F-16 preferred).

• Experience with electronic and

mechanical systems/components on fighter
aircraft at the organizational

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
