The type of excellent auto mechanic we are looking for is well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems on a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities (NOT an all inclusive list)

• Inspect vehicle engine, computer, electronic/computer systems and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Identify and recommend future maintenance services
• Repair or replace broken parts and fix issues

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• High school diploma/GED; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship or continued education in the automotive field is preferred
• Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
• PA State Safety/Emissions licensing for Erie County - OR - agreement to obtain within 60 days.
