New Concept Auto Service is looking to hire Automotive Technicians.

We are an Independent Repair Shop With Multiple Locations, in Overland Park, KS, 2 locations Merriam, KS, and our Fleet/Diesel Repair shop in Bonner Springs, KS. For over 35 years, we have served the community as a premier independent vehicle repair shop dedicated to providing high-quality automotive maintenance services. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our service staff to meet the day-to-day demand. In this role, you will have weekends off and not have to worry about late nights on the job!

The ideal candidate would be dependable and looking to further their career as a technician. We are currently offering up to a $3,000 signing bonus for new technicians based on experience and career goals.

SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 7:30 am-5:30 pm
(NO WEEKEND WORK)

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Diagnose vehicles to identify necessary repairs
• Document recommended/required services and parts needed to complete repairs
• Perform repair work on vehicles with accuracy
• Complete repair orders in accordance with company safety requirements
• Communicate with the service manager about any additional repairs or services required
• Will be willing to learn new skills and grow
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the repair shop
• Being able to set up a car on a lift, change oil, and do tires is great (but this can be taught to the right candidate)
• Abide by all local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Assist management and service department with other tasks as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous automotive repair/technician experience required - pay and sign-on bonus based on experience
• Problem Solving
• ASE or other technical certifications is a plus!
• Attention to detail
• Must be Self-managing
• Must be reliable and willing to work a consistent schedule
• Must provide own tools
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.74 per hour
