Job Title: Automotive Interiors – Module Lead
Location: Southfield, MI
Key Responsibilities:
Design of Cockpit module components – Instrument Panel & Console from concept phase till design release Be the onsite customer interface and be responsible for engineering delivery Coordinate the designs with offshore R&D team and present the results to customer at onsite and provide immediate CAD, section study or design and feasibility feedback to all program stakeholders (Design, Styling, Program Management etc) moving towards key deliverables Support all Customer meetings and maintain communication between customer and Interiors Development team and keep track on Quality, Cost, & Deliverables Accepts engineering responsibility for all new designs and revisions to existing designs, considering cost, manufacturing, quality, customers, product safety, employee safety, environmental considerations, and regulatory issues Perform issue analysis, i.e., DFMEA preparation, fixing during pre-production build events and, after SOP, perform the return from field analysis.
Skills:
8 years of Automotive Interiors design experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in Instrument Panel & Console components design & development for Automotive applications.
- NX CAD tool expertise
- Ability to enter and solve conflictual situations
- High willingness to make/drive decisions
- Good planning and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- High capacity of synthesis for all the technical issues
- Degree in engineering is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
