RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics to assemble components and subsystems of industrial automation systems.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, and align components and subassemblies.
• Perform tests and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of industrial automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with industrial automation systems and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly and testing processes.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Must be able to work out of our Warrendale office location; 7:00 AM -3:30 PM

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or certification in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and their proper use.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with industrial automation systems is a plus.
