Auto/Shop Foreman Job at Audi Exchange Kirkwood
Audi Kirkwood is under new management. We are now the Audi Exchange Kirkwood. We are in need of a Shop Foreman.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively distribute work to technicians in addition to paying technicians out for their work
- Oversee new and used cars are being prepped correctly to ensure customers have the best experience
- Plan and control the flow of service and repair work through the service department in a professional and timely manner
- Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system
- Ensures that technicians follow warranty procedures in addition to reviewing warranty labor operations
- Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required
- Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years Automotive experience
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Ability to distribute work to Service Technician in a fair manner according to their skill level
