Job location: Fort Pierce, FL

THE ROLE:

• We’ve done our diligence and believe the conversation for compensation begins at $28/hour + full benefits package + equity shares after one year + matching 401k up to 4%. That’s how it looks on paper. Tell us why you are worth more.
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed. But let’s not bury the headline: No nights. No weekends. That’s your time.

JOB PURPOSE

A Body and Paint technician repairs collisions, weather, and other damage done to the body of vehicles. Preparation of surface, paint mixing, matching & applying, solve paint problems during the application process, understanding of finish defects, cause, and cures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and determine paint rectification needs on a job-by-job basis
• Prep and paint vehicles
• Color match paint
• Perform quality control to achieve OEM finish
• Dent repair
• Body panel repair or replacement

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods;

• Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds);
• Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods;
• Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
