Opportunity for Part-Time Associate Clinical Psychologist
Balanced Insight is a NJ-based psychology practice located in Westfield, NJ. We offer outpatient therapeutic/mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families via in-person and telehealth care. At Balanced Insight, we are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive clinical care to assist individuals in embracing their inherent strengths, and developing their social and emotional well-being.

We are seeking a psychologist/permit holder to join our supportive, welcoming practice, which emphasizes core values of integrity, compassion and working from a non-judgmental stance. The chosen candidate will believe in and embrace the practice’s values. In addition to offering direct clinical care, the candidate will receive regularly scheduled supervision from Balanced Insight’s founder/director.

Qualifications:
- Friendly, warm, professional, and empathetic demeanor

- Doctoral degree in psychology or Masters (or higher) degree in clinical social work

- Licensed to practice in New Jersey or New York and/or post-doctoral candidates eligible for licensure in New Jersey or New York

- Expertise providing clinical psychological/therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults

- Experience working in clinical and/or school settings with children, adolescents, and adults

- Experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of challenges

- Experience completing risk assessments

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Very good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred but not required

- Experience with completing satisfactory clinical documentation

- Open to supervisory relationship and feedback

- Remarkable professional and ethical standards

- Availability/interest in remote/telehealth services, with the option to hold in-person sessions 1-2 days per week

Responsibilities:
- Complete intakes/structured interviews for newly assigned cases

- Provide clinical care/therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and/or adults

- Case management and consultations with collateral sources (i.e. school, psychiatrist, physician, etc.), as needed

- Develop and implement treatment plans

- Complete crisis/risk assessments (as needed)

- Attend and/or remain up-to-date with trainings and professional development

- Attend weekly supervision with Balanced Insight founder

Remote/On-site Requirements:

- Hybrid format for offering therapy sessions

- Candidate must be open and willing to provide primarily virtual/remote therapy sessions with option for 1-2 days/week onsite face-to-face sessions

Pay: $117,500.00 - $146,000.00 per year
