Associate Brand Manager – Breakfast Sausage

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic brand planning, both near-term and long-term, category and brand analysis, brand development and activation and strong collaboration with cross functional team.
  • Assist the Senior Brand Manager of Breakfast Sausage in supporting brand and organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Develop products that delight consumers and extends the gap vs. key competitors, while also building profitable, growing businesses.
  • Ownership and P&L responsibilities for specific segments within Fresh Breakfast.


Key Deliverables for this position:

  • Lead in the development of near term/short term planning as well as long term vision to drive profitable growth for the Fresh Breakfast business.
  • Leading voice on key consumer, category and competitive issues. Use brand, industry and consumer information resources to identify business issues and opportunities and to develop strategic and programming recommendations to achieve brand goals.
  • Lead integrated business planning for Fresh Breakfast. Work with Marketing Communications team to drive cost effectiveness and deliver ROI on all consumer initiatives.
  • Responsible for on-going analysis supporting brand initiatives. Provide timely and comprehensive analysis of objectives, execution, future implications and recommendations.
  • Price and promotion strategy that positions Johnsonville for profitable share growth.
  • Work closely with cross functional team members (e.g. sales, R&D, agency partners, etc.) ensuring alignment and activation of brand strategy.
  • Small “i” Innovation that keeps the business newsworthy and grows share of shelf


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required; MBA preferred
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience preferred
  • Positive and enthusiastic, consistently pushes creativity and innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, create new business and/or elevate existing business to higher levels of performance
  • Collaborative and can deliver strong results in close partnership with others across work areas, functions and geographies
  • Innate curiosity as well as strong analytic capabilities, ability to leverage data to generate insights and drive evidence-based decision making
  • Action oriented, with the ability to set priorities and achieve goals
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, acts with a high degree of integrity, humility and personal ownership

Global Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI (Our office is about an hour north of Milwaukee)


Flexible Work Schedule:
Opportunity for Hybrid schedule after training; Summer Hours

Memorial Day through Labor Day (half day Fridays)


Travel:
As needed, less than 20%
