Associate Attorney Job at ATAVAS, INC
Boutique Personal Injury law firm in the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to help injury victims, a positive mental attitude and strong work ethic. Some of the responsibilities include; manage caseload and resolve on behalf of clients by drafting settlement demands, negotiating with insurance adjusters and defense attorneys, analyzing and resolving medical liens, settling claims, preparing cases for litigations and court proceedings. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients.
The position entails extensive contact with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers. Successful candidates will be responsible for handling personal injury claims (mostly MVA and wrongful death claims) from inception to settlement.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in the states of MO and IL (preferred)
- 2+ years experience handling personal injury cases
- Motor vehicle accident experience preferred
- Pre Litigation experience a plus
- Will consider candidates who are experienced attorneys in the insurance industry
